Collect from West Ryde
Bring your licence, your Linkt or e-tag, the balance of the $500 bond and your first week's rent. We'll walk you through the car and you're driving the same day.

Banks turn people down every day for things that have nothing to do with whether they can drive. Rent to own skips the loan application entirely — you pay weekly, and at the end of the term the car is yours.

Car in the smash repairer?
We're an approved replacement vehicle provider for most Australian insurers. If you're not at fault, the hire is arranged directly with your insurer and costs you nothing.

Read all questionsHow much is the bond and when do I get it back?
The minimum bond is $500. It's refunded within 21 days of your rental ending, provided there are no outstanding dues or damage to the vehicle. The 21 days gives us time for any fines or tolls to come through.
Can I rent if I'm under 25?
No. For insurance purposes you must be at least 25 years old to rent from us.
Do you check my credit or financial history?
No. We don't require financial history. Anyone can rent a car from Affordable Car Rentals.
Are kilometres really unlimited?
Yes, for rideshare and van rentals, up to a maximum distance of 250km from the Sydney CBD. You won't incur extra costs for driving long distances within that.
Do I need to pay for tolls?
Yes, all tolls are the customer's responsibility. You can pay using a Linkt account or e-tag.
What if I don't like the car?
We'll swap it for another vehicle at no cost to you.
