The minimum bond is $500. It's refunded within 21 days of your rental ending, provided there are no outstanding dues or damage to the vehicle. The 21 days gives us time for any fines or tolls to come through.

No. For insurance purposes you must be at least 25 years old to rent from us.

No. We don't require financial history. Anyone can rent a car from Affordable Car Rentals.

A $100 holding deposit confirms your reservation and takes the car off the market. It goes towards your bond when you pick the vehicle up.

Yes, all tolls are the customer's responsibility. You can pay using a Linkt account or e-tag.

If you don't provide one, you'll be charged the toll amount plus a $10 management fee on top of your weekly rent. This needs to be provided when you pick up the vehicle.

Yes, for rideshare and van rentals, up to a maximum distance of 250km from the Sydney CBD. You won't incur extra costs for driving long distances within that.

Other companies charge up to 20 cents per kilometre. Ours are unlimited within the 250km radius, which is a substantial difference if you're driving full time.

We'll swap it for another vehicle at no cost to you.

We do. Every rental car is maintained by our team and kept in working condition throughout your hire.

We stock hybrid and fuel-efficient cars suited to rideshare work. All vehicles are Uber-approved and come insured, maintained and registered.

We provide an insurance document so you can start driving for Uber or Didi straight away.

Uber Green lets riders request a hybrid or electric car at the same fare as UberX. If you're driving a petrol hybrid, plug-in hybrid or fully electric car, you're automatically eligible — there's nothing to apply for. Every hybrid in our fleet qualifies.

Yes. Green trips come in addition to UberX and any other ride types you're already eligible for, including Comfort and Premier.

It lets you rent a car and own it at the end of an agreed period. It's a route into car ownership without needing past financial history.
